We consider the safeguard of health a fundamental requisite and promote the psychophysical well-being of our people. We pursue this commitment in compliance with the provisions on the protection of privacy and national and international laws on the safeguard of health and the prevention of diseases. With specific attention focused on health prevention, protection and promotion, we make an effort to inform employees of all the health risks, improving their general health culture. Initiatives include, among others, a cardiovascular disease prevention programme, weight control and obesity prevention programme, stop malaria campaign, etc.

HEALTH PROMOTION AND DISEASE PREVENTION

To protect the health and well-being of our employees, we have implemented various health promotion and disease prevention programmes at our premises to make employees aware of the main health risks and, consequently, help them to address those risks: the Cardiovascular Disease Prevention Programme addresses risk factors that contribute to cardiovascular diseases; programmes such as the Weight control and obesity prevention programme and Stop smoking programme promote healthy lifestyles.

STOP MALARIA CAMPAIGN

We have implemented a Malaria Control Programme to monitor our worksites and their workforce, and Malaria prevention initiatives in Angola, Congo and Nigeria, targeted at both local communities and the Saipem workforce.
